Modified materials possess high chemical inertness, and will not leach hazardous substances into food or impair food sensory properties (odor and taste). Food‑contact‑grade TPR is mainly applied to products in direct or indirect contact with food, such as tableware handles, grips for kitchen utensils, water‑path components and sealing rings inside water dispensers and coffee machines, baby bottle accessories, nipples, toothbrushes, toys, food packaging and medical devices.
